How to Turn Off Your iPhone 12 Pro Max

A lot of iPhone users don’t know how to turn off their devices. This is especially true if you’ve just upgraded from an older device.

That’s why we’ve put together this guide on how to turn off your iPhone 12 Pro Max without buttons. It also includes instructions for performing a hard reset, DFU mode, recovery mode and emergency SOS.

Slide to power off

If you have an iPhone 12 pro max, it’s a good idea to know how to turn off your phone in case of an emergency. This is especially true if you’re traveling and have a limited amount of battery life.

There are several ways to turn off your iPhone 12, including using the Side button. However, if the Side button doesn’t work properly, you may need to try a different method.

You can also press and hold the Volume Up and Side buttons together until you see the power off slider on the screen, then slide it to shut down your phone. This is the safest way to turn off your device, because it won’t cause any damage to your phone or erase data from your phone.

Press and hold

You can turn off your iPhone 12 pro max using hardware buttons, which are located on the right side of the device. These buttons include the Side button and volume buttons.

You could also use a hard reset, which will force your phone to restart. This is a great way to fix software problems that cause your iPhone to freeze or be unresponsive.

The most common problem that causes iPhones to become unresponsive or frozen is software malfunction. But in some cases, it might be a hardware issue that needs fixing.

One possible solution is to turn on your iPhone 12 and let it run for a while. This will allow it to cool down and repair any problems with the touchscreen, which could be a result of a damaged digitizer or glass panel.

Slide to power on

If your iPhone is stuck in a black screen and doesn’t respond to touch or button presses, it could be due to a software crash, iOS bug, or battery drain. Whatever the reason, it’s important to get your iPhone 12 back up and running as soon as possible.

A hard reset is a great option to try when your iPhone won’t turn on and you’re looking for an easy way to get it going again. It doesn’t erase any data or information, but it does fix many software problems that might be preventing your iPhone 12 from booting up.

The first step to a hard restart is to press and hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons in quick succession. After this, press and hold the Side button until you see a “Slide to Power Off” slider appear on the screen.

This method is a little risky, however: if you don’t press and release the Volume Up button before the Volume Down button, you might activate the Emergency SOS option. The Emergency SOS feature will contact emergency authorities, so it’s best to use this method only in case of an actual emergency.

Hard reset

If your iPhone 12 pro max has stopped responding to touchscreen commands or won’t turn on, you can perform a hard reset to reset your device back to the factory default settings. This will wipe all data from your phone and return it to its original state.

Before you attempt any kind of reset, it’s important to make sure that you have backup copies of your personal data. This will ensure that you won’t lose any of the information on your device, including photos, contacts and messages.

One way to check whether you have a backup copy is to navigate to Settings > General and select “Back Up Now.” If there isn’t a backup, it’s likely that you don’t have a good backup of your information, and it will be lost during the reset process.
