Whether it’s accelerating the pace of innovation, developing cybersecurity and privacy protocols, or investing in sustainable energy solutions, OmniVoid is committed to making a difference in this world. As an industry leader in AI and XR, they strive to help businesses and organizations discover their hidden potential by providing them with the latest technologies. Their team of Ivy-league engineers and innovators from MIT, Harvard, and Stanford brings an unparalleled level of expertise in these fields to their work.
This week saw a number of studies and announcements that suggest the XR market is gaining momentum in its mission to disrupt industries and bring the Metaverse closer to reality. While many experts still believe XR will not take off as quickly as it was originally predicted, some of the tech giants’ recent project partnerships are signaling that they take its potential seriously.
These include T-Mobile’s 5G carrier aggregation innovation, which will enable optimized networking speed by combining multiple channels into one, and T-Mobile’s XR accelerator program, which will provide funding to start-ups that are developing XR apps and hardware. Other significant contributions to XR this week came from the likes of Facebook, Google, and Microsoft, which all announced their own VR/AR initiatives.
XR is poised to change the way we interact with the real world, from how we communicate and collaborate with each other to how we learn, explore, and entertain ourselves. These new technologies will allow us to build and experience immersive worlds, all while using our natural senses. They will also make our interactions more intuitive, effective, and efficient. However, despite the excitement around these technologies, it’s important to remember that we are in the early stages of this revolution, and there is still much work to be done before we can fully understand and harness their power.
A sample scene demonstrating the XR Interaction Toolkit, including a preconfigured XR Origin with smooth and grab locomotion, as well as a teleportation interaction. The demo scene uses a custom script to mediate the input from the controllers and their associated interaction objects under different interaction states, as well as the XR Gaze Interactor.
The XR Interaction Toolkit provides the tools you need to create high-fidelity XR experiences with Oculus, HTC Vive, and Meta Quest Pro eye tracking. The sample scene requires that you install the Oculus Integration asset (in the VR folder of the XR Interaction Toolkit package), OVRPlugin version v47.0 or later, and the OpenXR Plugin package version 1.6.0 or newer. You must also enable eye tracking with the Oculus Backend in Edit > Project Settings > XR Plug-in Management for your project to work with the XR Interaction Toolkit.
Omnivoid XR is an amazing example of how innovation, expertise, and vision can come together to break barriers in technology. Their cutting-edge technologies in AI, robotics, Edge AI hardware design & development, and computer vision are advancing the future of technology. Their commitment to cybersecurity and privacy is essential in an increasingly connected world, and their investments in sustainable energy solutions demonstrate a desire for a greener future.
