How to Turn on AirPlay on iPhone

The AirPlay feature on iPhone lets you stream videos, images, music and more to Apple TV and other compatible devices. This is an inbuilt feature that does not need any third-party app.

However, if you do not want to use this feature anymore, you can easily turn it off. Here’s how to do it.

1. Go to Settings

AirPlay is a built-in feature that allows your iPhone to wirelessly share media content to other compatible devices like TVs and speaker systems. It can save a lot of time and space because it streams video files from your device to another without copying them.

You can enable AirPlay by going to Settings on your iPhone. This is the main settings menu that controls all of your device’s functions and gives you access to a lot of other things, too.

Before you start AirPlaying to your TV, make sure that you have both your iPhone and your television or other device connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Otherwise, your phone may have trouble connecting to the receiver.

When you’re streaming music or video on your iPhone, tap the AirPlay icon in the menu bar to send that media to a TV, Apple TV, or other compatible device. Then, your phone’s screen will appear on the TV and the audio will play through the speakers of that device.

On older Macs, you can also mirror your entire screen to an AirPlay-enabled device by clicking the screen mirroring icon in the menu bar or System Preferences & Displays.

Then, select the device that you want to mirror to. Sometimes, your Mac will require a passcode before it connects to the device.

In order to take full advantage of AirPlay, you’ll want to make sure that your iPhone and the device you want to mirror it to are both running the latest version of iOS. It’s also a good idea to clear out any large files on your computer that you don’t use anymore. You can do this by using a tool such as CleanMyMac X.

2. Tap on Wi-Fi

AirPlay is a fantastic feature on the iPhone that lets you stream content to your TV. It’s ideal for watching movies, playing games, and sharing photos with friends. It’s also great for streaming music to your speaker system.

To start using AirPlay on your phone, first tap on Wi-Fi to make sure that it’s enabled. If it isn’t, you can turn it on by going to Settings > General > Wireless & Networking and turning it on or off.

If your Wi-Fi is working properly, you should see the list of AirPlay devices on the right side of the screen. If not, you may need to adjust the network settings on your television.

When you’re ready to stop casting, simply click the same AirPlay button that you clicked on earlier and select “Turn off AirPlay” from the drop-down menu. If you have a passcode displayed on your television, enter it into the pop-up window to stop casting.

If you’re having trouble with AirPlay, it could be a sign that your router or modem isn’t providing an uninterrupted connection to the wireless network. Try restarting your router and modem, or disconnect and reconnect them to see if they fix the issue.

3. Tap on AirPlay

AirPlay is a great way to share content wirelessly between Apple devices and other compatible devices. It is especially useful for mirroring iPhone screens to Apple TV or streaming music or videos to speakers or smart TVs.

To enable AirPlay on your iPhone, tap on the “AirPlay” icon in the Control Center. This is usually found on the bottom of your screen or in the top right corner, depending on the phone model you have.

Then, tap the name of the TV or Smart Monitor you want to connect to your device. Sometimes, you’ll need to enter a code on the device’s screen before your iPhone will connect with it.

Once your device has connected to the TV or Smart Monitor, it will show an image or video on its screen. This can be anything from a photo to a movie.

If you’d rather stream music to a TV, you can open a music player on your iPhone and then tap the “AirPlay” icon in the bottom right corner. Then, select the name of the TV or Smart Monitor you’d like to stream to, and the music will start playing through that device.

To enable AirPlay on Macs, go to the “Control Center.” This is usually found in the top right corner of your screen, and it looks like two toggle bars.

You can also enable AirPlay by going to the Settings app. Here, you’ll find a list of “inbuilt” features and options for general system management.

4. Tap on Enable

Once you’re connected, go to Control Center and swipe up on the screen from the bottom of your device’s screen. Then, you should see a rectangular iCon that says AirPlay.

To enable AirPlay, tap on this icon and select Enable. It will show up on your iPhone’s screen next to Bluetooth and Wifi.

In the future, you can use your iOS device to stream content to other devices that support AirPlay. The feature works with most Android devices, including the Samsung Galaxy S4, and it’s available on iOS 11 and later.

5. Tap on Done

Apple’s AirPlay is a feature that allows you to stream media from your iPhone, iPad or Mac to other devices. This includes audio, video and photos. It also allows you to mirror your screen or play music through speakers.

To enable AirPlay on your iOS device, you need to go to Settings and tap General. Then, scroll down a bit and tap AirPlay & Handoff.
